Querbes and other manuscripts regarding the founding of the Institute of the Clerics of St. Viator. Volume 1 contains documents regarding Fr. Querbes and civil and diocesan approval. Brother Pierre Liauthaud, later Father, was the first disciple of Fr. Querbes and the first Novice Master at Vourles. This is a four volume collection. Volumes 1 and 2 are a compilation of the correspondence to and from Brother Liauthaud. Volumes 3 and 4 are the instructions on the statutes of the society used for the novices and parish cathecists, published in Vourles in 1849.
